Ben Swirsky began his 15 plus years of commercial real estate expertise in 2011 as Vice President of Business Development at renown Torgan Group. Since transitioning to Abel in 2019, he has been involved in the acquisition of over 23 properties and the successful financing and re-financing of dozens of commercial assets.
Ben brings a fresh, flexible perspective to asset management over a wide breadth of property classifications. Working closely with their professional staff, Ben and his partners at Abel offer boutique turnkey commercial real-estate services, including property management and facilities management.
Ryan hit the ground running when joining Abel Capital in 2019 as their head Property Manager. Now overseeing 23 properties covering 450,000sqft, with budgets of $2 million, and capital projects of $500K, Ryan has a hand in the vast majority of Abel’s robust portfolio.
His calm disposition and sharp business acumen makes Ryan a natural leader in tenant relations, contract negotiations, and retainment for both vendors and leases. An integral member of Abel’s management team, he assists up and coming staff and 3rd party management learn and grow alongside him while ensuring that each property and each tenant gets the attention and consideration they deserve.
Building on over 20 years of accounting expertise, Mercy Gonzales now helms Abel Capital's financial team. Utilizing her multi-national accounting designations, Mercy's career trajectory spans the private sector and public-traded companies and her focus on real estate management includes full cycle financials for more than 5 million square feet of commercial and retail projects.
Joining Abel in 2022, Mercy's nimbleness with numbers has seen the company grow a healthy portfolio of properties whilst also fostering the talents of the hungry young accountants that report to her. Sharing her keen insights into acquisitions, risk management, joint ventures, budgeting and projection, Mercy is paramount in keeping Abel and its staff lean and competitive in the GTA and Southern Ontario's fast-paced market.
After 20 years progressive accounting experience, Dina joined Abel Capital as a foundational part of their team in 2021. With a diverse corporate background in Communications, Administration, and Finance, she maintains multiple aspects of Abel's operations, including in-house accounting, payroll and benefits, full-cycle financials, and office management.
Dina oversees more than 5 companies, numerous Trusts, Shareholder and Financial Institution relations, and assists both the Financial Controller and sister company, Torgan Construction Limited. As an elite multi-tasker and touchstone for Abel's team, Dina's staff knows to follow her example of personability, professionalism, and perfectionism to continue building upon Abel's gold standard of service.
